Cello Baroque - Johann Öhberg 1759
A very fine and rare violoncello by Swedens most prominent maker of all times. Made by Johann Öhberg in Stockholm 1759 and still in baroque condition which makes this cello unique. The instrument have Öhbergs light yellow-orange varnish which is more sought after than the dark brown-black varnish he sometimes used.
A great 18th century cello by this master, whose work are compared to Italian of the same time and have even been confused with G.B. Gabrielli.
